![]() There are several different content wizard type utilities that will help. The last thing I want to do is lose more than a decade of work because my old filing structure was too archaic and unoptimized.Īnd, seriously, many thanks to anyone in advance who reads this and can help. I hope I'm not too far gone to be saved here. I MUST be doing something wrong, but even looking through the DAZ forums I don't even know where to begin, what to ask, or how to approach streamlining everything so I can 1) actually start using new models again, 2) make DAZ run faster instead of spending an hour searching for the right content, and 3) having to fix broken file links and manually searching for the right content because DAZ can't find it when loading up a scene. Because of how it got laid out back then (multiple files across multiple harddrives, Poser and DAZ files in separate folders, custom-made stuff), I've been unable to easily upgrade or add new files to DAZ and I've been stuck using Victoria 4-era characters and props for years now. I'm always nervous about asking for help, but I've been suffering through unoptimized, badly managed file libraries for years now and I'm ready to put an end to it. There are plenty of places to talk politics, this is not that place. Let's keep this subreddit free of political posts and drama. Do not link to or request links to any site advocating piracy or selling stolen assets. If it's not Daz related there's sure to be a subreddit for that discussion. This includes: Art, Help, Tips, Converting to or from Daz, etc. We will give warnings on new accounts, but repeat offenders may be banned. NSFW is okay, tag any art that could be considered NSFW as such. Multiple merchant posts by the same author too frequently will be removed. However, please limit these types of posts to one every few days. ![]() ![]() If you are a merchant or creator: yes you can post your site here. If you have multiple images you want to showcase at once, make it into an album, not individual posts for each image.
